How was everyone's commute home tonight?
Mine was AWFUL!!!!!!! I was driving on the belt pkwy and it wasn't plowed AT ALL ....... It was absolutely TERRIBLE in Brooklyn and Queens!!!

Pretty damn bad and I left a half hour early. We had early dismissal from school. Im not thrilled about driving tomorrow and so I am praying that Abby's day care closes so I have no choice but to stay home. No way Bloomberg will close school again.
ETA I work in Bklyn - not anywhere near home and public transportation is not an option.

We get out early on Thurs., but it was a slushy mess..walking to my car took about 10 mins. and I was only about a block away...very slippery!

i work in great neck and live in plainview.... we left around 4, it was a disaster, but the closer i got home, the snow turned to rain and by me there is no snow.

Mine was fine. Regular Rush Hour Rainy Day traffic on the South Shore of Suffolk.
They closed our offices early (normally I would still be there) to accommodate those who had to drive West.

Me too! I was so PIZZED off, I drove all the way to Brooklyn for my 2 classes and when I showed up they were cancelled!!!! The belt was not plowed or the side roads when I got there, but when I left a half hour later it seemed to be more slush on the side roads and the belt was all water. Still bad, but better than when I got there.
I'm taking the train to work tomorrow definitly.
