How was the transition from formula to milk?

How was the transition from formula to milk?
My ped. will probably tell me to start milk next month when DS turns 1, and I was just curious how difficult/easy it was to transition. Do you just, one day, stop formula and give milk? Did your DC drink cold milk or did you continue to warm it (if you warmed the formula)?

We had a very easy transition. I just about went cold turkey with DD...she didn't even seem to notice. I did not warm the formula, so that wasn't an issue.
