how/where do you store snow clothing

DH puts DS on the bus and when I mentioned having him wear boots to school and change into his sneakers, he said he wouldn't bother since there wasn't much snow. After school they are playing in the snow and DS is in knit gloves rather than his new snow gloves


1. Do you send in clothes for DC to change into. How do you do this?

2. where do you keep all of the snow gear. I keep the knit gloves in his pocket, just in case he ever needs them, but what about the snow gloves? I used to be able to keep all of their cold weather accessories in a box in the closet, but now it's not close to fitting. We don't have tons of room in the closet, but I could make some room in our front hallway furniture.

Snow stuff is in the front closet. I have their stuff in baskets together. I also keep the hat and gloves they wear on a daily basis on a coat rack that I have near the door. Again these are in a small basket on the shelf.
