How would you answer this question...???
Do you, or have you ever used other drugs (e.g. marijuana, cocaine or other
recreational drugs)?_______________
I'm being asked this on a form for a RE and the answer is technically "yes" (for me and DH), but well over 5 years ago and just a little. Never had a drug issue. I don't want to open a can of worms, but I also don't want to "lie". I haven't even smoked a cigarette in over 2 years let alone touch drugs but the question does as "have you ever".
Opinions??? and please don't judge me for asking.

Honestly, I'd probably say no, unless they involved needles and could have led to communicable diseases or your DH was currently using anything that could reduce sperm count (which I'm sure he's not if you're ttc) I'm a scaredy cat whose never done anything but smoked weed a few times in college, but I would not see any reason to share that information. It was years ago and has no bearing on my fertility.

i would say no- if you were asked in person, they typically would say that's OK and put no anyway.

If they are asking, I would be honest. There might be a reason. Or, if you really don't want to answer leave it blank and answer in person so you can explain. There are some connections between drug use and IF. Probably not in your case but I wouldn't want to start my relationship with a Dr with a lie.

This is true as far as drug use and IF. I would put down the cigarette smoking under used to smoke or write it in parentheses . If it was a cigarette back in 9th grade (like me) I would put no. Lol
