how would you phrase courses taken, but no degree?
I took over a year of courses in nursing and wanted to list it for a position that I think are worth mentioning.
I currently have for education:
School
MA (major)
GPA
School
BS (major)
GPA
School
some courses in nursing and liberal arts
Dean's lLst

I would just list the school that you attended and the dates. Then you could mention your GPA after taking the following nursing courses.

hmmm...I wouldn't put a GPA if this isn't your first job out of college.
As far as the courses, I would write something like successfully completed the following courses at XXXX university.
I guess my real question is why do you want them to know you took these classes...what is it going to tell them that would make them think you are perfect for the job? I ask myself this question for everything I write.

oh, ok, no GPA? I thought it's good to list it.
The job I am applying for is in a hospital fitness center, so I thought the fact that I have some nursing classes would be helpful.

I have college credits with no degree from 3 schools.
I listed the 3 schools with the dates attended. You could put nursing as a major if you wanted.

I wouldn't even list it like that. I would take off the last school and put in the cover letter that you have taken the following courses in nursing (list them), which would be helpful in this environment, etc., etc. It's basically elective courses since you don't have the nursing degree, and normally I wouldn't list courses unless it was first job from college.
I took off GPA after my first job out of college and I think it's a good idea to take it off.

i woudl list the courses taken and then at the end, something like:
graduation date: May 2008
It shows that you haven't graduated but isn't screaming it.

the college the courses were taken in was the first college I attended after high school. I have already graduated both BS and MA
