HR Professionals....any seminars or workshops?

I need more credits to maintain my PHR. Does anyone know of any seminars or workshops coming up?

Have you tried this:

http://www.findaseminar.com/

I use it to find all the different seminars I take.

You can also try the SHRM website.

Thanks! That is very helpful. I found a few things I might be able to swing. Some of the things out there are so expensive. Chat Icon

Re: HR Professionals....any seminars or workshops?

If you're interested in low-cost recertification, there are other options available.

Did you know you can get up to 20 credit hours for instruction? This could be running an anti-harrassment training, speaking at a conference, etc?

You can also get up to 20 credit hours for on-the-job experience, making strides toward increasing your knowledge base.

If you're feeling especially energetic, you can get recertification credits for writing/publishing articles or for serving on committees or other leadership roles within SHRM or other organizations.

Good luck - I personally don't have the energy and I usually end up just retesting.
