HSG - Done!

Got my HSG done this morning, and it wasn't that bad. I was worrried about the dye making me cramp, but I hardly felt anything at all (I almost never get bad cramps with AF though, so that could be why, plus I took an Alleve beforehand). The worst part was actually the speculum going in - it was this big plastic thing and it didn't exactly feel good. And then she cranked that sucker open - owwwww....I didn't think I'd be able to put my legs down flat. They put pillows under my knees though.
Anyway, I got to watch it all on the monitor and it was pretty cool. Both my tubes are clear, so I was relieved to find that out.

I did my hormone level blood test last week and the pelvic sono - everything was normal except my FSH levels are a little high, whatever that means.

DH still has to do his deal, and then I have an appointment next Friday with my fertility doctor to talk about the findings.

I'm so glad that HSG is over with!!!!

Annie, I am so thrilled to find out your HSG went well.

What was your FSH level ? Was it above a 6 ? That is your follicule reserve....
