HSG and bleeding
I had my HSG on Tuesday and I am still spotting/bleeding. Did this happen to anyone else? It makes me nervous because it is red, but only really comes when I wipe, with exception of when I first came home, there was a big spot on the pad. I don't have any cramps or anything, should I call the DR?

Re: HSG and bleeding
I bled slightly for a while after my HSG. Like a week later i even had some dark (old) blood when i wiped. When I went for an internal sonogram about 10-14 days after the HSG the technician asked me if I was spotting b/c she saw blood and I told her about the HSG. Everything for me turned out fine so I wouldnt worry. Did you doctor perscribe antibiotics for you to take to prevent infection? If I were you I would call just to ease your mind.... you know?

Re: HSG and bleeding
I didn't have any bleeding, but I was told to be prepared for it, so its definitely normal.

Re: HSG and bleeding
I remember bleeding for a few days afterwards. I remember because I knew many women get PG afterwards and i wanted to try but I needed to wait until I stopped bleeding (had it CD7 or 8). We BD once that month and I got BFP (I m/c at 5w4d). Sometimes i think it'd be cheaper to take this test again and take my chances than to pay for IVF. I know a lot of people that were successful after. So, I guess I'm saying, give it a try. You never know.

Re: HSG and bleeding
Yes, I bled for a few days after and it freaked me out. Some days it was even clotty, but they said it was all completely normal so don't worry about it!! They say it can increase your chances of concieving so good luck this month!!

Same for me although I was told that the bleeding is totally normal. I even went out and bought a large box of pads beforehand in anticipation.
