HSG Test... my experience.
So I went to NSUH for my HSG test today. Got there early and they took me early. I must admit I was nervous as I've NEVER been in a patient in a hospital with the exception of being born and well, I guess that was ok.
Dr. Rosenfeld did the procedure. When he was putting the dye into the syringe he joked... "Now this is going to turn your hair blue" I said right back at him... "If you can check my tubes AND color my grey roots I'd make sure you get the Nobel Prize
I did pop some ibruprofen only about 15 minutes before the procedure, I didn't know they'd take me an hour early. The procedure itself was uncomfortable but this is coming from a BIG BABY who has never broken a bone or ever been operated on. I had about two sharp intense cramps that lasted for about 3 seconds. In the middle of my cringe he asked me to turn to my left and I had to think for a minute... which left? Oh, my other left?
Lovely, you have that thingy up your hoo-ha, your hanging out on the table in all your glory (my modesty left months ago at about the 4,000th person to look down there) and they tell you to turn. Oh yeah, let me do a pirouette for you
I have had a bit of bleeding since... just a little but I'm also on day 22. I feel fine now... as if it's a few days til AF.
Oh DUH... he said everything looked normal.

Re: HSG Test... my experience.
SO GLAD its over and was relatibvely OK.
When they told me to move to the side, I was in so much pain I couldnt..the nurses had to literally roll me to each side.
And I had mine done by Dr. Rosefeld there as well and they took me early, but it was scary if your not used to hospitals, walking down that long hall to get to radiology
So HAPPY TO HEAR THOSE RESULTS!!
everything is moving along GREAT for you!
When is your next appointment?
