Huge Multi Family Garage Sale, Come make some money!

Hey All,

A couple of friends and myself will be hosting a huge multi-family garage sale Saturday 5/26/07. If you would like to come and join us and try and get rid of you stuff, that would be great. With so many of us moving, starting families, etc, I'm sure we all have a lot of stuff lying around with no use in site. Come on down (my parents house in Nesconset) and sell your stuff.

More items + more buyers= more Money to be made!!

P.S. would make a great GTG!!!!

Kerry

so, what happens to the individual proceeds? do participants have to pay "rent" or a fee....like a barber shop chair?

also, how far is this? I have a ton of junk I'd love some poor soul to buy off my hands...but I don't want to waste more in gas than I'll make in profits, KWIM?

NO! Not at all - we are just a bunch of friends getting together to sell our stuff in one sale! It's going to be located in Nesconset between Terry & Townline Road (not far from Hauppauge/ Exit 57/58 on LIE)

No way, there is no renting fee. Just some friends getting together to sell some stuff. Its a nice way to have a get together and get paid at the same time. Just bring your table, set it, and sell.

Re: Huge Multi Family Garage Sale, Come make some money!

I have clothes ready to be donated but how much could they possibly bring in? My friend does a lot of garage sales and she tells me to price the stuff low, sell a high volume and then there is less to clear away at the end. So far I have never participated. How much does most clothing go for at garage sales? I'm talking moderately priced brands, mostly, nothing totally outdated, some new with tags, some worn a decent amount.

Hey Keri,
I would give it a shot at the garage sale first before you donate them. Nesconset is sooo close to Commack. I would price items anywhere from $1-$2.

Oh, I will try to stop in to shop even if I decide not to sell stuff. I have to take it day by day as to whether I have energy to be out for any long period of time outside of going to work. I have no idea what we have planned that weekend, if anything. I may also have books to sell, all kinds. Send me the address info, or I'll FM you soon.

I am still trying to get you the sleep clinic info, too.
