Gerty! This is awesome! I had a strong inkling that something was going on, but I was afraid to ask. I thought of FMing you so many times, but didn't want to pry.
It seems like your infamous "47" egg retrieval was ages ago and I have been watching and waiting for an update from you. When there wasn't one, I started to wonder... We all seem to share bad news right away.
I am absolutely thrilled for you. We'll help the bedrest go fast; you can talk to us all day!

Thank you all so much for all the good wishes and Congratulations!!!
I will be spending a LOT of time on these boards come April 1st...but we will do whatever we have to do to keep this baby growing.
and to answer some questions..
the sono is a 3D and apparently that's pretty much all they do at Ocean Peri-natal (Dr. El Kady), which is where I've been referred for high-risk. So, I think all my sono's will be like this!!
Dr. K's full name is Dr. Kenigsberg and he operates out of LI-IVF.
We are due 8/12 and the cerclage will most likely be the first week of February...bedrest starts 4/1
Thank you all again...you make me feel so loved!!

I rarely post on the message board. For no particular reason ..... mostly because I am an extremely private person (maybe to a fault).Although I must confess I am a "stalker" and visit the IF boards for updates, info and support. Seeing your announcement I felt compelled to write.
Firstly, CONGRATULATIONS! I wish you and your husband a blissful 9mths and a lifetime of happiness!!
More importantly I wanted to say THANK YOU! You have taught us so much through example and inspired us all! Not necessarily because of the struggles you had to endure or the or the issues you had to overcome... but more so because you did it with such grace, compassion & dignity.
You have given to all of us invaluable insight. You shared your journey freely and never waivered in your support. You've given advice without judgment. Your wisdom and heartfelt concern is always evident.
So i know I am stating the obvious..... but I just want to be certain that you know. WE ARE ALL THRILLED FOR YOU! CONGRATULATIONS!!
