It's really nice, just go as early as you can. It gets really crowded quickly and parking can be a nightmare. But it's a huge place and there's a lot to do. Definitely worth the trip.

no more like crafts vendors, a carnival, farmers market, beer/wine. Its a street fair.

Re: Huntington Fall Festival?
Thanks, everyone! I am hoping tomorrow will be a bit less crowded than the weekend crowd. We also plan to get there as early as possible (I belive it opens at 11).

I am just gonna push her to a later nap tomorrow! I hate getting such a late start waiting till after her nap (we got to the Bronx Zoo around 3 on Saturday - WAY too late - and out to the park at 3:30 today - again, SO late!).
I think you should do the same with Jack!

Re: Huntington Fall Festival?
Hi!
We went today (Sunday), nice and early. Honestly, we were a bit disappointed, as it seemed to have a lot less than in previous years.
A better festival is the Bellmore Family Street Festival, which was rained out and is now rescheduled for the weekend of 10/25. It is especially nice for people with kids, as they have a Kids Expo, and even offers lots of free activities for the kids, such as face painting and crafts.
