Huntress Boots
Does anyone have a pair?
I keep reading that they are not that great especially in the ankle area.
I really need a pair of boots like this while I commute to work and wait for the bus.
Any other recommendations?

Re: Huntress Boots
I have them and love them. They aren't fitted in the the ankle if that is what you mean but I don't think most rain boot are.
They keep my feet dry and warm. This time of year I wear them without the insert (like today) and when it gets really cold I use the insert.
They were my life saver last winter with my commute and all of the snow/slush.

Re: Huntress Boots
They are 150% worth every single penny you will pay for them - And spend the money, if you can, on the Hunters, and not a knock off -
I finally bit the bullet and bought the Hunters after replacing 4 pairs of $25 rain boots - I've had mine a few years now. They're are a MUST for commuting through the rain/sleet/slush/snow etc -
I'm not sure what you mean about being bad in the ankle area though - They're large around the ankle..........is that what you mean?

Re: Huntress Boots
I've tried on a few pairs and I hated the feel around the ankles. They were so big. And I'm a 9 1/2 so going to a 9 was too small and going up to a 10 were too big. They just never fit me right.

Re: Huntress Boots
I actually love the Sporto rain boots. They're comfortable to wear and think they look great too.

Re: Huntress Boots
I really need a good pair of rain boots for days like today.
I have read mixed reviews regarding the fit of the ankle area. I would assume they would be big, but some were saying they bend in that area because its big.
Also, how are they for wide calves? That was also mixed reviews. I know the Hunter boots won't fit me, but was hoping the Huntress would - then I read the reviews.
I'm really bad at returning things if they don't work/fit. So I want to make sure they would work.

Huntress Boots
I have them. I love them much more than the regular because I am a bit shorter (Not TOO short 5'4") and they don't come up as high. They are loose in the ankle but I think most rain boots are.
