I dont think the Panhandle is going to get it .. Maybe a light breeze and some rain but I dont think they are going to get the full force.
I just checked with my nieghbors and we are currently getting 50mph gust... so it's alot more then a light breeze already:(
To me anything under 75MPH is a lite breeze...

Are they still saying its gonna hit the panhandle? All they are talking about is New Orleans. I am still worried about Laurie and Jack. I hope they will be safe.

 winds 10mph are a lite breeze.
but hurricane winds that hover under 75mph are NOTHING close to a lite breeze!!! I hope this Katrina loses steam fast!!!!

Not at all.. especially after spending all day yesterday boarding up my home and all day today driving with an infant, dog and cat I already know after Ivan and Dennis it's a really scarey thing don't appreciate any humor.
I'm prepared for the worst and fear for Nawlins because there homes aren't. But at the same time Ivan was heading to New Orleans and then headed towards the pandandle so this is a terrible situation for all.. and emotionally is very hard to handle by myself.

Its not easy when you are living trough this or have family living through this that get knocked down and when they try to get back up and get hit again.

true....wasn't there a joke hurricane or tropical storm that killed 4 people last weekk
