Hypertension during pregnancy
I am not frequent poster usually more of just a reader. My sister and I have been trying to do some research about antihypertensives and delay in children? I was on toprol with both my pregnancy and labetalol was added with my first due to eclamospia. My sister was also on toprol throughout her pregnancy. All three of our children have been diagnosed with speech delays and processing difficulty. We are trying to see if there is a relationship between the medications and delays. I was curious of any one on here has found the same to be true.

I took labtrol while pregnant and my daughter was born at 29 weeks she has a speech delay. She born due to preclampsia. She has a speech delay and recieved OT and PT.

Thank you for the replying...I think its just how things happened but my sister truly believes that it is from Toprol.
