Re: Hypnobirthing or Bradley?
I took Bradley classes when pg with DD.
I read the Hypnobirthing book as well.
They are too different classes, even though both are aimed at drug free-natural birthing.
A few girls on here I know were very successful with hypnobirthing.
I would have loved to have done hypnobirthing, but I dont think my DH would have taking it seriously and been into it.
I just read the book and incorporated the techniques into the Bradley Method.

Re: Hypnobirthing or Bradley?
I can't comment on Bradley because we haven't looked into it at all, but we are in the middle of hypnobirthing classes, and we're finding it really helpful. Although I never tried the techniques out in labor yet, the meditation and relaxation exercises have already been useful to me.

Re: Hypnobirthing or Bradley?
I looked into both and decided to do the hypnobabies homestudy course. It is only $150 and is a 6 week program that comes with a workbook and CDs. At first the idea of "hypnosis" was a a little weird to me, but it really is just a way of teaching yourself how to become really relaxed and train your mind to perceive the pain of childbirth as pressure.
