hypothyroidism and TTC
I was hoping you guys could help. I was just diagnosed with hypothyroidism! I started on synthroid this week...anyone know what effects this has on TTC??
My endo didn't really say too much!

I am on synthroid as well. Diagnosed hypothyroid by my RE. They said it could affect TTC when its undiagnosed and that when PG they up the synthroid because the Babys brain is devloped by the thyroid and can cause issues, but they didnt say anything too major about issues that might arise.

I was recently diagnosed with Hypothyroidism by my family doctor in February. It was 6.7 and now it is 1.17. I am taking synthroid. Your tsh should be be under 2.5.
YOu may want to get tested for autoantibodies for thyroid. I did most recently and tested + which means I am auto-immune to my own thyroid tissue.
Having autoimmune issues can be a reason for implantation failures. YOur body will confuse your healthy cells as bad cells and could prevent implantation.

I know my endo took more blood on me and was checking for anitbodies. So I am hoping to get more answers!!
