I actually made DH speechless!!!!!
On Friday I am in my 30th week. So DH said 'Okay, 10 weeks away' To which I answered:
"Well, we need to aim for 36 weeks and hope the baby's lungs are good. That gives us 6 weeks." (He got lower in the chair and I thought I'd have fun.) "And since the doctors say I'm 3 weeks early, we only have 3 weeks left!"
He couldn't say anything. He looked pale.

But seriously, he should (as should all fathers) be prepared for ANYTHING. You could go today, in 6 weeks, in 8, in 12! ANYTHING could happen....it's just funnier that he turned pale at the prospect of sooner than later! (Mine did too)

aw - poor DH.
Mine is the oppostie. He was the one who told me at 36 weeks it was go time at any time and he read up on how to deliver at home if he needed to! He still remembers it all and will tell any father-to-be what to do in case of an emergency! LOL

Yes, my baby is measuring 3 weeks ahead. But that is normal in my family. My mother and sister both measured a month early with all their babies. We just have giant babies. The babies never came early for them. I just like to tease DH.
I'm psycho about getting things done. My niece and nephew were born at 31 weeks and 32 weeks. My SIL just couldn't handle carrying a baby from my family. (At least that's what we joke about now as it was scary when it happened.)

Since they keep pushing back the close date on your own place, we are prepared for anything, but hoping for the baby to be on time. But we'll call you if we need his expertise.
