I almost wish I could go into labor early just to spite my job
I am 39 weeks, and I swear, they are piling on ridiculous amounts of work, knowing when my last day will be. The kicker is that I have a leave replacement - there is NO reason she cant do this! In addition to preparing the paperwork that will be due for the next 3 months, to be NICE and not d!ick over my leave, my job piles on two large additional projects for my last week. One project will give me 2 days to complete it! I dont know if they are considering, if I happen to go early, these projects wont get done for at LEAST 2 weeks - Im not writing reports in between contractions!
I half wish I could go into labor early just to spite them!

Re: I almost wish I could go into labor early just to spite my job
My job did this to me last pg... They piled on several new assignments when I was 38 weeks. I was writing reports up till the very end. I had a leave coming in too. It really stinks.

Re: I almost wish I could go into labor early just to spite my job
I'm sorry they are treating you like that! Jerks! Before I had DD1, I was in a department that was essentially only two people and the other girl was out for the last 12 weeks of my pg. She came back one day, I left the next. It was AWFUL doing two full time jobs and I was offered no help at all. What really peeved me was that when I went, the other girl complained and they split my responsibilities between 2 people The good news is its almost over!!!!
