I am a jerk. A BIG HUGE JERK.
Usually Dh makes this big elaborate scene for my birthday, getting all my friends together to suprise me for a big birthday dinner.
So, when he came home tonight and said, why don't we get Alex dressed and go for Chinese, I burst out crying.
Through the tears I was saying, I feel slighted, we were just talking about doing things for each other to show we care, and I feel like he isn't making the effort for me, yadda yadda yadda...
Yeah, well, I made Dh feel SOOO bad that he had to spill the beans that he organized a big suprise dinner in the city with all my friends, but no one could do it until this coming Saturday. And he found a yummy new vegetarian restauarant to boot...
So now I have to act suprised Saturday night.
Ok, so everyone say it together now - I AM A BAD WIFE 
P.S. I blamed it on the Clomid

You're NOT a bad wife. Misunderstandings happen. It's not the end of the world. You couldn't have known he was planning something and he couldn't have known you were upset. It happens. I'm SURE he understands. Don't beat yourself up over it.

Aww. Look at it this way. Now your husband knows how much you look forward to and appreciate all of his effort.
If he put so much work into it, and you were like "eh, whatever", then he'd feel crummy.
Now he knows he did exactly what you wanted to and that all his hard work was well worth it!
