I AM FUMING!!!!!!!! (monitor related, long)

I'm having problems with my summer monitor. It pops continuously. It has nothing to do with weather or interference. It started doing it about 1 month ago (after 4-5 months of use). We've tried it in different areas of the house. Something went wrong with it. It is not the normal static popping sound. It is a continuous sound, but I can hear the baby over it and the video works. I called the company and they said they'd send out a UPS label for us to send it back. This means that I have to send my monitor to them and wait for them to send another to me. Total time: 2 weeks without a monitor. I asked how they expected me to go two weeks without a monitor.

I voiced my opinion on here and a few of you said that you had a problem with the same monitor and the company sent a new one overnight. With this new info, I called the company back.

So I talked with the company and he said that since I was already in the computer with the original 2 week shipment, that he couldn't change it. I specifically stated that other mothers had their monitor sent overnight and I wanted that too. He said if I had asked for it originally that it would've been done that way.

So I guess when I told them originally that I couldn't wait two weeks, that was not me telling them I needed it overnight. WHAT THE F&*% is that? I COULD'VE gotten it overnight had I asked first. But because I didn't ask til now I can't get it?!?!?!?!

I wish I could go to BRU, buy a new one, then when the company sends me a new one, bring that one back to the store. I should not be thinking deceptive thoughts. But how the hell do I go 2 weeks without a f$%*&^% monitor?

Ugh....idiots....You could however buy the BRU one, keep the receipt and bring it back when they send you the new one...I know you should NOT have to go through all that trouble but at least you would have a monitor.

That is BS!!!!!! Just becuase you didnt know to ask for that, you have to suffer? That is such cr@p!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so sorry I've dealt with summer a couple times and they were great. If it's any help the monitor comes from RI, so maybe it will come faster than 2 weeks. I know mine did when i sent it back.

I borrowed my bro's extra monitor in the meantime, it def STINKS to go without video though!

Buy one and save the box. Whatever they send you put it in the box and return it. Yea I'm probably going to hell one day

Why don't you call back and either talk to a different person or put in a new request. Use your husband's name or have it sent to your mother's house. Depending how they track things in their computer, they may not know you already made a request.
