I am getting SO nervous!!! Anyone else in the 3rd tri starting to freak too???
So with only 9 weeks to go I am starting to get very nervous about everything. I am concerned about the GD because although my sugars are waaaaay better I still get weird spikes even with the insulin so they are working on finding the right dosage for me. In the meantime I'm panicking that I'm incubating the incredible hulk in my womb!!!  I am worried the baby is going to come too early and that everything won't be ready. I still haven't had my shower which is driving me insane because I want everything done and ready for the baby. (I am an anal planner and organizer so to not be ready now even though I'm due Sept. 25th is killing me!!) I'm scared about Labor and Delivery and how all of that will go. I'm sure this is normal to be freaking out a little but I'm use to having control in my life and right now with the GD, the shower, the baby's arrival, etc. I have NO control and it's making me panic. Anyone else feeling the same way????

I'm not panicked yet since I am a week away from the 3rd trimester, but I can totally hear you! I am a control freak and it kills me not knowing when things are gonna happen: ie. shower, birth, etc. Just do your best to hang in there. Unfortunately, this is one major event that we have NO control over!! Lots of hugs to you!!

Oh thank god it's not just me. I literally had a panic attack in bed last night and I couldn't fall asleep. I'm just so worried about the baby coming too early and from what I've read it's not uncommon for the baby to make an early arrival when you have GD. I'm sure everything will be fine but I am petrified too!!!

Oh yeah, it's definately starting to sink in that the end is near!! I have my shower this weekend and then I can figure out what is left to get, but I feel totally unprepared. I mean I have NO idea what I will actually need. But OMG, I'm going to be a mom in 10 weeks

I totally empathize. I am due Sept 4 and her nursery is no where near finished. My shower is this weekend though    so I look forward to getting things in order the next 2 weeks.
I am not quite as worried though about L&D as you seem to be though. My baby is measuring a pound bigger than the average so I am concerned about that but otherwise I just want her here!!!!!!

Heck I was scared the moment I saw "pregnant" on the ditigal reader
Right now though all I can think about is finishing up work and that's making me worry about the office more than the terror that awaits me in 7 weeks
Also my Dad's coming in on Aug 21 and I just can't wait. I'm so excited. I miss him so much and I can't wait to see him.
I'm sure after my Dad arrives it will kick in... Holy cra p I'm having a baby in a few weeks. 
For now.. I'm just trying to enjoy that I'm not totally freaked out, yet.
Besides.. not much we can do to stop it now.. is there?
But to add a lil insight ..... I told my hubby.. "We have 7weeks left..... Heck we didnt even see the doc until I was 8 weeks and look hiow that flew by... Our time is UP!"

I was thinking the same thing..........in just a few more weeks I will be somebody's mom!!! That's so crazy!! In the beginning it felt like you had so much time and now that my due date is approaching it feels like there isn't enough time. It's all feeling very real now and I think that's why I'm getting nervous but I'm crazy excited too so it's weird feeling!! I just can't wait to see the baby and know what it is but I want to be prepared too. That's just the crazy organizer in me.

I'm nervous and excited at the same time. I think about all the sleep deprivation, and the crying and the poop! But then I think of the smiles and coos and chubby cheeks and it makes me excited.

YEP! I was talking to my pregnant friend the other day about how I'm nervous this time around. The first time I didn't know what to expect so I kind of just went with the flow.......NOW I'm nervous!! And to think it's just a few weeks away

I'm due a day after you and I'm def nervous....I think I'm more nervous of the unknown...like what is going to happen...will my water break or will I have to be induced...will my contractions be painful...etc.

I am not nervous but very very excited. I am so not prepared yet though. I havent bought half the stuff i need for her. Luckily all the big stuff she will be using were from her big brother though.

Nervous? Not really. I just wont have time to do all I need to do. The kid will make her way out somehow. I am healthy. She is healthy thank G-d and we will be fine.
What troubles me most and has for some time now is not having either one of my parents with me when I have this baby. I have so much support from everyone else - friend, siblings, ILs, but it is not even close to the pride that only a parent can show their own child. I am missing out on something that so many take for granted and it pizzes me off.
That being said, I am sadly forced to split any available time I have preparing my own home while emptying out the house in which I was raised to prepare it for a garage/tag sale which could very well be the week before I am due to deliver. It is too much raw emotion.
When I go home at night and see my home in a state of disarray because we are moving things and painting, it is really hard to believe that it will all come together in time. I just want to be able to come home from the hospital with my daughter and look at her and feed her - NOT worry about what my place looks like.

I am due the same day, so it helps to know I am not the only one!
I am scared of LD, because of past bad experiences. I am even thinking of switching docs & hospital this late in the game.
Nothing is ready for this baby, and my only supportive family members - aside from DH - are in Australia!
I am trying so hard to calm down, for me and the baby.

im getting really nervous!!! i feel like i have so much organizing to do and i just never feel like doing it. im excited but at the same time cant even picture having a baby in the house when its been just me and DH for 5 years. When we are just hanging aound watching tv we say...i wonder what we would be doing with the baby now....well we will find out soon enough
