I know they probably dont do this to you but I couldnt be hypnotized since every time I see someone under the "spell" they are barking like a dog and I would be affraid that would be me

Well it went pretty well! It definitely seems like I have more will power today and more of a desire to exercise. It basically puts you into a deep meditative state where your mind is more likely to follow direction. He basically spoke to you once everyone was in a hypnotic state about picturing yourself the way you wanted to look, picturing yourself drinking water eating healthy food and eating slowly and enjoying it. He asked us to picture ourselves exercising and feeling great while doing it. We each bought the CD for 15 dollars that we are supposed to listen to every night for the next 21 days. You are also given a lifetime membership card to attend the seminars free for life. It doesn't just change you- you definitely have to put forth the effort, but it definitely puts you into the right frame of mind.
Now today I started following South Beach, but again my biggest obstacle is figuring out the correct way of eating for my body . . . . Day one was better than I have been doing, so any improvement is something!

Please keep posting the outcome, I would love to know how successful it is? Do you feel it is more of a mind over matter think where you are more conscious of your decision to change your lifestyle?

This is exactly how I feel. So far, I have been more in control of my eating.

Good luck Brianne...as long as you feel a positive change in your body then I'm sure It'll be worth it.
I'm satrting Atkins again today because I've tried everything and it's the only thing I'm good with. So Atkins...here I come!

It is going well. I am not weighing myself for two weeks (about a week and a half from now) since I am in the first two weeks of doing the Carbohydrate addicts diet, but I am more disciplined and eating much less. I just have to get on the exercise roller coaster.
