I am having a complete meltdown right now. (fixed the post.. sorry)
As most of you know I have VERY limited space to put the baby in my room... I'm talking 3 inches will throw the whole space off. Well I searched high and low and found the perfect crib. PERFECT.
I ordered it from Walmart... It was shipped... Then I got an email saying it was delayed in transit.. So I have been calling Walmart over and over..
Well, It's freaking missing. Gone. They have no idea what happened. It probably got taken off the truck by mistake at a store... it's gone.
Soo they refund me the money and tell me to call this resolution number and re-order it..then they will ship it to my house...
Well... It's out of stock. No more left and they have no idea when they are getting new ones in...
But, she will be glad to look around the website with me and pick out a different brand....
 Well I burst into tears... yeah because it's that easy. Because I didn't do TONS of research on this product.. TONS!!!
The only store that carries this particular bassettbaby crib is Walmart... So I am just crushed destroyed and now time crunched to find a new crib NOW!! And I don't have 700$ to spend on a crib. I have the 250$ I already spent on one.. that's it...
I am sooo melting down... I can't stop crying!
ETA: HEre are the dimensions..
Height 45 inches
Width 29 inches
Length 56 inches...
i went and did some shopping with a girl friend and now I feel a little better... now I have to check out the website that Karen found it on.

Can you try calling the manufacturer adn see if they have anymore and if they sell them anywhere else????

I am in NJ but if you find it in a store around here, order it & then I will go with my DH to get it for you then you can come here and get it!!

It's BassettBaby .. Cape cod. in cherry
I called a Bassett store and she said that BassettBABY is not sold at Bassett stores anymore. She gave me several retailers.. but, the only one that has that style.. from what I can find.. is Walmart. When you go to the Bassettbaby website they list Walmart as the vendor for this crib.
I am on the phone with walmart right now and it looks like, in store, they only carry 4 specific cribs and this one is only sold online. I just fell in love with the color, style and size!! Image Attachment(s):

OMg you are wonderful. But the guy I am speaking with right now is telling me that they don't sell this style in store.. only online.

I am so sorry that you are going through this Tricia!!!! Does Target sell anything similar or does Walmart have something similar??? I know you fell in love with this particular one but I am just looking for more options!
Plus, there is no way for them to figure out which store this was dropped at?? I mean, I know tracking is so precise these days

Oh no I'm so sorry I understand the stress you have since we're a little low on space too. Do you know the measurements of the crib? Maybe if you can't find another of that same crib we can all help you search another that is the same size?

Ok - First thing is first, don't go crazy ordering a different crib yet -
Take a few steps away from the computer and the phone and let yourself calm down a little bit before you go back to your search .......
The baby does not HAVE to go into his crib immediately, although it's the MOST convenient and ideal situation to have his space 'done' before he arrives, it's not crucial to survival ...........Beleive me, I'd be a basketcase too, but when you step back and reevaluate, it's not a deal breaker ...........
SOME Walmart, SOMEWHERE has that damn crib and we will find it - We may not find it TODAY - but we will find it !!!

If it was shipped there should be a tracking # and they *should* be able to locate it.
I wouldn't let them off that easily. I would make THEM find the one you bought that is missing!!!

I found the crib at Shopzilla.com as well. It is available in Cherry.

That is unacceptable and I would ask to speak to someone in higher management or something.
Giant cribs don't just "disappear" and the fact that they're not doing anything to find it...well, that's wrong too.
