I am in so much pain!!
I had to have a root canal today..boo hoo and I am in sooo much pain. I have had them before and have never been in so much pain. The doc gave me vicodin and they aren't even helping. The novacaine didn't even wear off yet and I can't feel my lips..you'd laugh at me if you saw me, my shirt is covered in iced tea..every time I take a sip, it drips down all over me because I have no control My whole right side of my face is numb, yet throbbing!! I HATE HATE HATE going to the dentist!!!

Tell me about it! I had one done last week & I went home feeling like crap. I laid with my head on the pillow & could feel the throbbing!!!!

I know, I never remember getting that for a root canal before..when she said she was giving it to me, I thought OH SH!T is must have been baaaad!!!

Oh, I hate that! I had a root canal FAIL once. Who knew they could fail??

Wow, maybe it was a deep one. Or once I had one that went on for 6 months. I guess the canals I have are curved and he had a hard time filling them. He kept hitting the tendon which would immediately swell and then he couldn't finish...
At least it is OVERWITH right? No more dentist appts. for awhile I hope.

Unfortunately more to come..she didn't finish this one..I have to go back on the 10th and I have one other tooth that needs a root canal, but that one should not be too bad.

Rats!! Sorry to hear you got to go back. Feel better and I hope the next one goes better. Maybe you could pop a V before the next one, so you won't feel it?
