I am keeping my fingers crossed...
I've decided to try cereal again. I gave it to him this afternoon at 12. I am trying it once a week for now.

Re: I am keeping my fingers crossed...
Thanks guys. I am trying beechnut this time. The flakes are smaller and thinner. With Gerber the flakes are much bigger. Does that make a difference??? Did anyone else notice this?
Does using one name brand over another really make a difference. Also when I prepare the cereal the milk is warm but then it eventually cools down as I feed him. Is it ok for them to eat it once it gets cold. I mean once he starts the jars those are going to be a little cold.

I never tried beechnut... DH took to Gerber well...
As far as the tempeture... It would cool down to room tempeture as long as he doesnt have a problem with room tempeture bottles I dont see that being a problem...
GOOD LUCK!

Thank you...So i'm really keeping my fingers crossed for this cereal thing. I really do want to get him on solids but not if it's gonna hurt him if he's not ready.

Re: I am keeping my fingers crossed...
I would try it for 3 days instead of once a week, it will be to hard to see if it bothers him. Also which one are giving him? Maybe try oatmeal or barely if rice is what you are giving him. As far as brand I give DS Earth's Best, its all Organic.
