I am looking for DURABLE LR furniture....pet friendly, kid friendly
fabrics? styles? suggestions. We have a typical split level, so the LR isn't all that big. We were thinking of one sofa (sleeper popssibly) and 2 rocker/recliners instead of a loveseat

I was gonna suggest microfiber too. My DH spilled fruit punch all over it and I was having a heart attack, but it all came out really easily and no staining! Also, my lab drools all over it and I just go around with a sponge once a week and wipe off all the drool spots, no prob. The cat loves to sleep on the top and I can get out the vacuum and easily go over the whole thing.

Our furniture is microfiber, the den we got at Seigermans and the LR we got at Sofabeds ETC, both on RTE 110, I would recommend both places!

We have microfiber with the guardian protection plan, and I have to say it is very easy to clean

I agree. I have never owned leather furniture, but heard it's the best, especially with kids!

leather or microfiber
but get either one treated
my sister got a cream microfiber sofa and the treatment done to it- Jake spilled coke all over it and it sat on top until we cleaned it off
we have leather- and it's very easy to take care of

My next set will be leather...not doubts about it!
