I am officially tempting fate
I couldnt resist. DH and I were in Quebec this weekend and I saw this street sign with my favorite girl's name. Maybe someday we'll have a daughter and we can hang this in her room. . . but of course as soon as I took the picture I said "now of course if we have children they'll be all boys!" (which would be fine with me!)

That is my niece's name. She is named after her great-great grandmother (whi is still living)
Her name is Genevieve Rose.

My friend has that name but her family and friends all call her Jen. I think ts such a waste of a beautiful name!

yeah, I guess it's a name that can lead to a bunch of nicknames. . . my name wasnt very conducive to nicknames so I never had one.
