I am officially "that" person- people fear telling they are pg
So one of my friends annouced her pg on FB a few weeks ago. I didn't comment on it. I just was pretending I didn't see it and figured she would tell me in person. She got pg the first month trying and knows all about my m/c and IF struggles. But I just couldn't muster a response on FB, I should have I guess. Well I saw her at the gym and asked her what was new with her. She said "nothing same old". I guess she will tell me when she starts really showing, she is almost 10 weeks. Just made me feel bad KWIM?

Yup I've become one of those people too. DH's cousin got pregnant and she didnt tell us herself....we found out through relatives. When I congratulated her she said "oh I didnt wanna tell you because...well you know"
I was like  'ok then...i guess thats supposed to make me feel better' but of course I didnt come out and say that to her.
Unfortuatenly I've also become the "well it could be worse- you could be HER" girl. One of my gf's (who also has a small chid) just had a m/c and she was telling me that her sister said "well it could be worse....you could be like Lisa and have no kids at all." I'm still trying to figure out why on earth she felt the need to tell me her sister said that

Pretty much everyone is done having kids (the shower I just went to was for one of our friends/close family friends daughter). I wonder how my friends refer to me. Probably "poor BA".

One of my closest friends from college announced her second pregnancy (within 18 months) on FB....no congrats from me. I sound bitter and jealous but that is just the way it has to be.

My mom did that to me last year...she mentioned (like a slip up) that she was going to a baby shower..I was like, oh really - whose? She said my cousin - who is like 2 yrs older than me - and it hurt me more that it was hidden from me for several months...my mom went on to say that my cousin wanted to invite me but my mom talked her out of it. My mom was just trying to protect me but it hurt me more to be kept in the dark like people were walking on eggshells around me!

Yeah BTDT with my sister too. She didn't tell me she was pg with her 3rd until she was 14 weeks
Lisa- I cannot believe she said that you. I think she needs a LIF IF azz whooping!
