I am on a diaper bag mission
I have a Gucci and a few others. None of them are cutting it for me anymore.
I see that alot of girls like these Ju Ju Be bags - I was going to go to Nordstroms to check them out.
Any other suggestions?

Hey - you're supposed to be helping me
I'm also in this in-between stage with Jack. I am not sure if I need a bigger or smaller bag for his stuff!

Re: I am on a diaper bag mission
I am sort of at that in between stage too. I don't know what to get!! I need less baby related things for him, but I need more snakcs/entertainment things for him.
Right now I have a Franco Sarto tote bag that I use as my diaper bag and throw my wristelt and cell phone in and its not too big. Then in my car I have a little backpack with a bunch of toys/books/crayons to keep him occupied in restaurants and stuff like that. It works for now, but I want something new!

Re: I am on a diaper bag mission
I can't help you. I had diaper bags issues when DS was born. I have 7 of them. None of them thrilled me. I even have a Kate Spade. I just stopped buying when I realized I was getting addicted.
I use a Vera Bradley looking style bag from AC Moore for $10.

I love my Skip Hop bag--very roomy, lots of space for his stuff an my stuff. DH will use it too when he's out with Matthew.
They have one basic style, lots of colors and patterns. It's no Gucci, but it hauls around his stuff well.

Re: I am on a diaper bag mission
I always see people posting about their diaper bags and I really don't get it. But then again, I'm not a purse person either. As long as it carries my crap, I don't care (I'd rather have shoes).
That being said, I have this nice like $36 one from BRU. It is Carters. I have the one with green lining and black polka dots. It matches my Chicco discovery travel system. Besides that, I love it. It has plenty of room and is light when it hardly has anything and fits everything I need for a long day or overnight. The nice double zipper on top makes it easy to close even when stuffed to the brim.
ETA I had to get one that was black that my DH felt comfortable carrying and not feeling like he had a man purse.

I like my Ju ju be,...but I am not a label person either so I like it just because of what it is, not the brand. Bags that didn't "work" for me I donated to my church.

Re: I am on a diaper bag mission
I actually was going to post about this. I find the designer diaper bag (like coach) way too bulky for me, nice looking but not functional.
I am looking at getting the jujube or the petunia one I did a search last night and that seems to be what people recommend. I'm leaning toward the jujube because it looks like it could be very convienent.
ETS I also read you can get a better deal from this website than Nordstrom's
Jujube diaper bag

Another Skip Hop lover here! It's funny, I checked out alllll the high-end diaper bags, figuring I would treat myself. Ended up being disappointed with them... just not functional enough... too big, too small, etc. My Skip Hop is PERFECT, and yes it's unisex enough for my DH to use it too. Will continue to use it when #2 comes in Feb.

Re: I am on a diaper bag mission
I am a Ju-Ju-Be girl all the way! Nordstrom only carries a few styles, there are more online that are awesome! I always order from littledudesanddivas.com, they are great! If you have any questions feel free to ask, I am a self proclaimed Ju-Ju-Be expert/addict They also have forums on their website that are very helpful

ITA. I don't think I could justify spending that much $$ on a bag that gets thrown in the stroller carrier, spit and spilled upon, juices leaking in or onto it, food getting mushed into it.
Call me crazy, but that's just me!
