I am so sick of all this.....

I dont even want to see the dr tomorrow. I will, because my dh wants to talk to him. But, I really dont want to do injectables for an IUI (he has already brought that up) and I dont know if I want to do an IVF because its bad enough when an IUI fails, I really dont know if I can handle an IVF failing. My poor dh will do whatever I want. Right now, I want to stop all medication and get my body back in shape and try naturally. If I dont ever get pg, then I at least have my dh and we will just have to make a life together. My only question to myself is, will I regret not trying more later on.

Nobody can answer the question for you, but I had to give IVF a try - the dr's basically said that IUI was no longer an option for us

I have to tell you in all honesty though that the shots are not that bad..I mean it, I am a complete wuss and have always been terrified of needles, and I was fine. The progesterone ones are not easy, I will say that, but if they work, it was all worth it

This is a very hard decision to make. I can say from experience breaks are good things and often help clear your mind. I have not thought of "what if" AFTER a break, though of course before it it crossed my mind. You have to be menatlly sane to approach this and you have to take of yourself the best you can and theres nothing wrong with a break.

Also, injectable IUIS often give your Dr's a chance to see how you will respond to the meds without in a sense wasting an IVF. Its something to think about.

In all honesty, I dont think the shots are all that bad ( for an IUI ). Its not that many, much less then IVF and its just a little added stress but does make you feel like your doing something.

I would seriouslt have a heart to heart with the DR's and try to explain how you feel, and what you feel about trying, about IUI, about injectables and IVF and try to get their opinions and make sure they explain it till you understand. A good Dr. will take the time to make sure everythings clear and on the table...that might make you feel better.

Only you know what is right for you. I'm sorry you have to go through all of this. Best of luck in whatever you decide. Remember, if you decide that IVF isn't the route you'd like to take, there are other ways of growing your family ... when you're ready and if you're willing to do so. Best of luck.
