I am so sick to my stomach right now!
I just went to check on Christopher cause he fell a sleep a little while ago and when I went in there his blanket was completely wrapped around his head. My heart nearly stopped. I am so freaked out. He has been sleeping with a blanket for months and this has never happened. I took the blanket out.

i am so glad he is ok
i have always used sleep sacks and they do come in all different fabrics.

 I know competely how you feel.. This happened to me the other nite... My joseph has slept with this blanket since he was 9 days old... never had a problem... the other nite wrapped around his face... i pulled it off and was leaning on him to make sure he was breathing
he wont sleep with out this blanket but im all over him now!!!!!!!!!!!

This is why I do not let Aly have a blanket....please, buy him a halo sleepsack blanket.

The only way my DS will fall asleep is with rubbing his blanket on his face. I just go and take it off after he falls asleep. Its a waffle weave cotton one.
I was scared at first too, but he always moves it so he can breathe.

They come in different materials - you can get a lighter one. DS sleeps in a sack everynight - over his pjs - he is never too hot.

My son pulled the blanket over his head from the beginning, so all I use are those sleep sacks now...I need to get more, hoping santa drops them off

yep...they have the fleece which are very warm, but I forgot to tell you that Jess...they also come in a very light weight cotton...

In case you're in a situation where they won't sleep without a particular blanket, start cutting it smaller until it's a small cloth they can hold in their hand. It's definitely not worth it.

Awww. I am glad he's oK.
I used to give DS a blanket, Months ago, but, he always covered his face with it (he was still in our room, bassinet). No more blankets for him.
He wears heavy feetie pjs to bed. Im thinking of getting a light sleep sack too.

My DD does the same as Kate's son...I just push it down after she falls asleep.
