i am so upset
since i started working, i have not been able to be as active (i have to sit at my desk all day) i have gained weight and all my clothes are so tight and uncomfortable and hardly any of my suits fit me.
i can only get to the gym 2 days per week and i am trying to eat as healthy as possible. i work crazy and long hours...
sorry for the pity party, but i know you girls would understand.....
does anyone have any suggestions? TIA

I totally understand. I spend all day at a desk and don't have time to exercise during the week. I'm trying to watch what I eat (harder that it sounds, of course) and exercise on the weekends. My only suggestions are healthy snacks and eating a big salad before dinner so you don't eat too much of the less healthy stuff.

im in the same boat as you! i dont have time for the gym and sit on my butt all day at work.
here are my suggestions (i should follow them myself!): -drink a TON of water. I buy the BIG poland spring and make sure i finish it before lunch - i dont email when i dont have to - i get up from my desk and walk to the persons desk. (and drinking the water will make you get up to go to the bathroom too) -walk during lunch breaks (if you get them!) -after dinner, go for a walk - its best to move after you eat to boost metabolism -only eat carbs in the morning - cereal like special K keeps you fuller longer in the morning than just fruit or eggs,and limit carbs in the afternoon and evening

I'm going through the same thing! I have been making an effort to bring healthy lunches and snacks as much as I can. I have also been walking to the express stop of the subway instead of taking the local - and the same when I go home. This winds up being a nice 20 minute walk. The next thing I am working on is figuring out some quick healthy dinners or things that I can make ahead. Dinner kills me because I often get home late and I am too hungry to start cooking!
