I am terrified of getting prego and having another baby

I love l my DD soo very much, she is my heart and soul , she is the best thing that's ever happened to me and I would give my life for her.
My DH and I keep talking about a 2nd baby and when and if we are going to have one,every time we talk about it I get upset, I would like to have another baby to have them close , but I had difficult last 2 months of pregnancy and a C/S with unbearable pain for weeks that followed it and didn't sleep at all first 3 months, I am just terrified of going through the whole thing again and I don't know if I can handle another baby. people keep telling me that with time all this fear will go away and I 'll have another baby, but I am not so sure.
Has anyone else felt this way or feel this way ?

yes, I had the C/S and pain for months after and no sleep for 14 months with my daughter and went on to have 2 brothers for her It's all worth it

i think its normal to feel this way so soon after a rought pregnancy & csection especially - give yourself a little more time

right after DC was born i swore to myself she'd be an only child even though i've always wanted at least 2 children

I felt the same way.... I didn't like being PG at all, and my labor was the pits.... Wound up having a c/s in the end as well.

Honestly.... get on the pill and give yourself some more time to 'feel' out the pregnancy topic!

i have a fear that i will have horrible m/s again for the whole pregnancy like i did with my DS, and i will have a toddler to handle too.
but i love DS so much, i cant wait to have another in year or two. This way hes a little older in case i have to go through it bad again

i have posted about this alot. I had a horrible labor and delivery and am so nerovous after hearing horror story after horror story of things that went wrong during some pregnancies. One of my best friends sisters had to give birth to her baby a few months ago at 20 wks b/c she found out the baby was so poorly developed and would never make it through the whole pregnancy and if she continued to carry, it would make her sick

I feel the same way and my kid is 2.5. I do want another but everytime I think about being preggo( even though i had an easy one) and not having my body to myself and going thru the first 3 months I get scared and put off having another, I keep putting it off and putting it off my son is going to wind up as an only child at this rate.
