I am THRILLED to announce I am #1 on the list.....
My cell rings around 12 today, I answer, and it is the husband of one of my mom's that have me booked for their newborn session....
He's all giddy...
I say congratulations!!!! When did she have the baby?
He said, very matter of factly "2 hours ago"
My jaw dropped and I started laughing so hard....
Im like, your kidding right?
He said no, it started at 330 this morning and she was born 2 hours ago....
i say, well, I am flattered I got the phone call so fast!
He said
"I didnt have a choice- I had a list of people to call after she had the baby and your a number one!!!"
THAT felt good!!
Needless to say, I get to shoot this brand new baby at FOUR days young, and I am SO excited!!!

LOL - just wait until you get the text message that the mom is in labor and then updates every hour.
Yes, it'll happen (it did to me and like you, I laughed hysterically).
