Re: I am watching "I didn't know I was pregnant"
It always boggles my mind.
Seriously - you have a HUMAN BEING growing inside of you. How do you NOT know or feel that?
And the one last week about the college freshman - she didn't have ANY belly whatsoever and she was skinny! W. T. F.

Re: I am watching "I didn't know I was pregnant"
I know!! I saw that one last week too! I was saying to my OB how I saw this show and can't believe how they don't know, he was so funny, he says it is called "Denial"...it made me feel better to hear him say that b/c I always wondered what OBs thought of that....seriously how do they not notice the stretch marks, the belly, just so many changes in your body that you can't miss.....and they have a show about it!!! Insane!

Re: I am watching "I didn't know I was pregnant"
True Story, I worked with a girl who did not know she was pregnant at all, her own boyfriend did not know. She said she gained about 15 lbs, I saw her everyday and only noticed alittle weight gain and so did our other co-workers. She said she was tired all the time and did not have any morning sickness to show she was preggo. She said she thought the flutters were just gas and didn't feel any kicking.
She got her period every month and was on birth control also. The night before she went into labor she was out at a bar drinking and when she started having really bad cramps and saw she started to bleed she thought how could I get my period twice in one month. She went to the hospital and they told her she was in labor. She was telling us that she was in complete shock and her BF even more. She gave birth to a healthy baby girl (thank god). Because she didn't have anything for the baby we all chipped in an bought things for her. She was so embrassed about coming back to work, that we weren't aloud to discuss it with her. SHe was 19 at the time and this was going back 8 yrs ago.

Re: I am watching "I didn't know I was pregnant"
The worst is the episode where the girl gives birth in the campground bathroom and the baby just falls onto the floor and hits his head. Then she doesn't even pick it up for like 5 minutes. I was sitting on my couch screaming at the re-enactment, "PICK IT UP".
I will say though it makes me feel a little less guilty about the times I skip the horrible prenatal vitamins... But I guess on that show they really only show the pregnancies that worked out well...

I saw that one too and screamed the same thing...I know, I am sure they only show the good outcomes....
I did take over a position of a girl in a nursery school many years ago..who supposedly didn't know she was pregnant. She came in w/ the baby and her mom was like I can't believe we didn't know....I didn't believe it...and still don't.

Re: I am watching "I didn't know I was pregnant"
Having been pregnant and having a child I have a hard time believing this show - fine they don't gain weight and don't feel sick, fine they get their period, fine they mistake flutters for gas - But - COME ON think of the end when the baby is 5 pounds plus and it moves around - you don't just feel it you SEE IT - not to mention when you are carrying around a watermelon in your belly things feel different - I'm sorry but I think there is something not right with these people.

ITA. Even in the 2nd trimester I found it hard to believe, but now at 39 weeks I;m like "NO WAY". You can actually SEE the baby move. There are things about pregnancy that are not mistakable for anything else. Its just not possible for them to not have known. Its called denial

Re: I am watching "I didn't know I was pregnant"
I'm amazed at how many of them have this happen with child number 2,3,4
If you've BTDT wouldn't you recognize symptoms?
I wish they didn't only show the hapy endings, makes it seem like prenatal care really isn't all that important
