I ask this question every few months... Sunglasses and Hats
Its that time again for new sunglasses! I have the hardest time finding decent sunglasses that look nice on me for running. I need something that won't slip, large coverage (dont need anymore wrinkles!) and preferably under $75 - since I lose or break them often.
Right now my favs are a no name from TJ MAxx that were $10.  But DH thinks they're hideous. Function is more important to me so I always wear them though.
Any suggestions?
Also, I want to start wearing hats or visors more regularly for spring/summer runs. I have a few nike and under armour ones specifically for womens running, but they always fly back off my head. Does anyone have this problem? Maybe my head is shaped wrong for them.

I wear a visor when it's sunny out. Maybe a visor would stay on better than a hat?

sorry i worded that wrong. i tried both visors and hats from under armour and nike. and i have a prob with them all staying on. maybe i need to try another brand, or size?

I wear running hats that I got from races I have done. As for sunglasses, I have an ugly pair from who knows where. Honestly, I am not too concerned about how I look when I run. By the end, I always look like a hot mess. Better that people cannot tell who I am with my ugly sunglasses.

Yeah I look like a Bug in mine and DH teases me.
Functional & attractive do not go together for sunglesses!

I splurged on a pair of Oakleys for running and I absolutely love them. I only use them for running and am really careful with them. They are so comfy, do not slip at all.
As for visors I think mine is Under Armour. If it's flying off your head you might be wearing it too high. Maybe pull it down over your eyes a bit more?

Thanks for the suggestion. DH wants me to get oakleys but I am notorious for breaking and losing sunglasses! Maybe i'll check the outlet.
I have very thick hair and a lot of it, so I just ordered a visor that is attached to a headband like elastic strap. THis will probably work better than the velcro or less stretchy ones... I hope.
