I asked on the home board but no answers so maybe one of you know
I have this rose bush in my yard(its been here since we moved in 12 years ago) trying to figure out what kind of rose it is? Anyone have a green thumb and a clue because I certainly do not

Could be a climbing rose...
Check out this link... showing it may be a sweet vigorosa.
Here's a google image search for Sweet Vigorosa Rose
And if all else fails, take a photo (of the full bush), a flower with leaves to a good garden center/bloom house like Bayport Flowerhouse and they should be able to tell you for sure.

Funny thing... I'm on the Cheap Sam's email list and I just got an email from them... about Knockout Roses being on sale. Here's their website showing pics and explaining a little about them. Do some google searches and google image searches on knockout roses.
