I blacked out at my glucose test...
I had my glucose test this morning...no one warned me about the fact that you can pass out from the stuff you drink!!!
I went really early to beat the crowd, so I was there at 6:30am when the door opened...by myself. I drank that stuff within 5 min like they said and about 45 minutes later the room started spinning and my hearing went and my face got really hot and I had no idea what was going on...it took 3 ladies to hold me up and walk me into the back where they laid me down and I had to elevate my feet. Within 5 min of laying down I was back to normal, but I was so scared because nobody told me this could happen! Apparently, it is pretty common...but very scary. They took the blood and sent me on my way. When I got home I was so out of it and tired I went right back to bed. Now I just have to wait for the results.

I had no idea this could happen - thank you for sharing it! But I am so sorry that you had to go through that - yikes.
Glad you are feeling better though.

Awwwwwwww....thats terrible and scary. I didnt know that either...that you could feel that way from it.
Thankfully you are ok..feel better.

oooooooo my gosh Tiff.. I can not beleive that happened to you! I know u said you were going early but wow that is early!! Well make sure you rest up... Feel better!

Wow!
No one warned me either, which is interesting since I drank it by myself at home and then drove myself in.
If I had known it was common I would have made sure someone was with me!!
I'm glad you are okay now - take it easy today!!!

Wow! I didn't know either! When I took the test, nurse kept asking me, how are you feeling? I was ok! Now I know why she kept asking!

How scary! Why do you think this happens? B/c you haven't eaten and it spikes your blood sugar?

OMG, I am so sorry that happened to you, i had both the 1 and 3 hours, i wasnt even aware that you could pass out from it. Glad you are ok
