I canceled my gyn appt
I was going to go today for a yearly but I'm seeing a RE on May 5. He is going to do the pap and more for sure so I though the yearly wouldn't really matter. I talked to the doc office and they agreed..they actually suggested it. They said as long as I'm not having any issues (and I'm not)..the RE visit will probably suffice.
I still have to get my mammo done this month but I do self exams.
So I'm pretty sure I'm ok with this plan.
can you guys offer any other reason I should go to the gyn if I'm seeing the RE so soon? I would love to hear opinions..thanks.

Re: I canceled my gyn appt
There's really no reason to. I ended up doing the same thing because I was scheduled for an annual around the time I had my first RE appt. I canceled by ob/gyn appt. and my RE just did the annual for me at the same time during my 1st appt. She actually found a lump in my breast, and was quite, quite aggresive in the follow-up, so I have no regrets in putting all my efforts with her.

Re: I canceled my gyn appt
I agree. My yearly is supposed to be in June but I'm probably going to have an appt in July with my RE so I'm not going to bother going to my GYN then. Why go through the motions twice if you don't have to?
