We started a registry when I was around 14wks, but we didn't tell anyone about it. We were really excited to start picking things out, so after my successful ultrascreen we decided to start a registry but not make it public till we knew the gender.
Well, I called today to cancel it and the girl over the phone asked me why.
It felt like a kick in the mouth but I just had to do it. I didn't want to risk getting things in the mail around my due date in case they put you on mailing lists, etc for having a registry set up.
I just called and asked to speak to the people who deal with registries.
Thanks ladies I'm going to Dr.B for monitoring today so I'm automatically in better spirits..... but yea the other day was def rough, and to ask me why?! At least it's done. I'm off now to find out about my follies. Hopefully my next registry isn't too far away!

I can only imagine your grief.
Thank you!! I'm actually VERY optimistic today!! It's like a wave of optimism and a part of me feels like a new person.
I don't know what it was about the urge to cancel the registry on that day specifically but I think it came from an internal need to officially close one chapter so I can make room for another!
