I cannot believe how $$$ some of the baby bedding is!
DH and I went to Behr's and BuyBuyBaby last night to look around and of course all the bedding sets I liked were by Nava and $600 and over. I cannot believe there is baby bedding that is that $$$$. I am shocked. Thank goodness I have a lot of time to keep looking.

Targey and JCPenny (both online) have some great sets - nowhere near $600.

I loved Nava also but refused to spend 1k on nursery bedding. I hated almost everything out there. Glenna Jean makes some pretty stuff that is affordable. You can search for them here...nursery depot

I registered in Babies R US and BUY BUY BABY only because BUY BUY BABY was the only place that had my bedding. It was expensive and unavailable. The girls at work chipped in for my work shower and bought the 5 piece set...and they couldn't even buy it there because it was unavailble. So they found it elsewhere. All of the other pieces which some family and friends inquired about when my mom had my shower fro me, were also unavailable. So no one bought me the rest of it. I had to order the rest which I am still waiting for. I do not reccommend them for bedding ...or anything else fo rthat matter. They are the worst.
See if you can find bedding elsewhere.
Nurserydepot.com has tons...they even had mine!

i had the same prob with bbb....its was so frustrating! We wound up finding another set at bru that was cheaper, and origianlly I didn't love as much - but have grown too....I realized that the baby doesn't care so mch what it looks like so we could save the $$ now on bedding and let her pick a more expensive set when she is older and has likes and dislikes of her own!

I bought a Beautiful set on ebay...brand new of course and for a 9 piece set it cost me only $80 and we also bought the mobile ($35) and wall art ($20). Its very classy and adorable.

We purchased our own set on ebay too, when we found that we just didnt like anything in BBB or BRU. With shipping it was just under $200 and came with the sheet, bumper, blanket, crib skirt, diaper stacker, toy holder and 2 valances.

We have a set by Nava (Valentina) and honestly, it was a waste of money!!!! The blanket never gets used- other than for "decoration" and I've already taken the bumpers off (DD is almost 1).
Save your money-- just get something that matches your nursery and you're all set.

It was like talking my mother down from a ledge to get her to realize that 800 bucks is NOT an appropriate amount of money to spend on a baby's bedding. That's sick. She's just going to puke all over it anyway We ended up with a gorgeous set for like 120 bucks.

 when we were shopping, DH thought the price tag in the crib was actually for the crib. I explained, no that's the bedding...he went numb

I found mine at www.babycenter.com but Target has it as well. A four piece set was only 150 and its such nice quality. I love it.
