I cant believe I am sitting here working from home

I have a large group (40 cabins) and the whole group is messed up. Majority of them are constantly sending me checks for their deposists but the deposits are for like 4 people and not one of them is the person who wrote the check. And no information about the funds.The procedure is they send us a check and we have to send an agency check to the cruise line. I can not apply names or assign the cabins untiil the cruise line has the money in house. So without information the funds sat at the group level.

I have 2 people that are going free but they keep sending me their personal checks checks with no information.

About $2500 was sitting on the group level that is listed as "cash" because of all the checks. Just now the group leader sends me all the updated information and where funds are to be applied too. We are also in penalty. I cant do this during the day b/c of all the noise around me so here I am 9:30pm on the phone with Carnival Cruise groups department cross referencing the funds and making sure everything gets allocated correctly. At least I am at home doing this

The worst is the cruise line just starting putting funds in various cabins to secure the cabins.

So now I have to actually go through all the copies of the checks.

The good thing is the group leader sent me a detailed work up of what people actually did pay so I can just copy that.
