I commute Queens to Garden City- and they both were awful- but nothing beat how crappy Old Country Road was- its like they didnt plow or salt or anything- its going to be a mess tonight!

im in TOH and they came several times by me.. but i think they could be a bit better. Ive heard that merrick and sunrise dont look that great - but i havent seen them myself

I live in long beach and the roads are sooo bad except for park avenue - thats only wet. The rest of them need to be plowed again, or at least needed to be at 7:30 this morning.

I was surprised at how bad Jericho Turnpike & Old County Road were. It's not like this storm was a surprise.

Our major roads here in Plainview are BAD...I am glad I decided not to go in-I actually ended up going to the dr. and the 3 min. trip took me almost 10 due to my slipping and sliding (and everyone else, too!)-I crossed over Old Country Rd. on my way and couldn't believe how disgusting it was!

I live in TOH and our roads were pretty bad this morning when I left for the train. And when I got into midtown there is no snow to be seen... How does that happen?!?

totally agree! our side streets were better than old country road. it was terrible!

Old Country Road is done by county. The last blizzard we had before Christmas was horrible. All the village roads in VS were fine, but the county roads were atrocious!

I live there also- on w broadway and that wasn't plowed until after 10am
I drove out to suffolk- and 83 isn't plowed in every spot- it's kind of odd - like they just missed spots

Yea last time we got hit our road barely got plowed and my ILs, who live in Wantagh, their roads were clear.
This morning our roads were pretty nicely plowed and when we got to Wantagh the roads were barely touched. My ILs block and surrounding streets were plowed once early yesterday afternoon. They had almost a foot of snow on their streets with one little path right down the middle. I thought for sure we were going to get stuck when I had to pull over to let a truck pass the other way.
