I can't get over how heavy my period is since the miscarriage

It's absolutely crazy. I never bled overnight before the miscarriage. Last night I soaked through a pad from 2:30am-4:30. Is this normal? Will it slowly decrease or will this be how my period is from now on?

It's technically my third AF since the loss but I don't know if I should count the first one since that's when I passed the sac.

I hope it lightens up a bit because this is insane.

My first period after the mc was insane. The 2nd one was very bad the first day then tapered off. I'm hoping my 3rd period will be my usual.
I hope yours gets better Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Out of the almost 25 years of getting AF......it never was as heavy as it was.......the first AF after M/C.

Its totally normal. The first 3 days at least are insane. I never went thru so many pads......I refused to use tampons b/c I wanted to make sure EVERYTHING came out. Chat Icon

It can be a little scary......but its totally normal! It will definitely start to subside.

Ugh so sorry you are dealing with this. M AF was a bit heavier but the main problem was the CRAMPS. OMG they were the worst for both AF so far post D&C (2 AF so far) - I had 4-5 days of cramping and that is unusual for me. Ugh hang in there chicky.

Btw have you asked the dr. if that is normal?

didn't you have a D&C? did they tell you not to use a tampon?
I heard no tampon for like 3 months because of risk of infection.
