I can't wait until I look certainly pregnant

I'm 13 weeks, and am in that in between stage. If you look at me, you'd just think I got chunky. I tried on my old maternity clothes, and they are too big...but all my regular clothes are too small (especially in the bust area).

So, I went to the mall, to buy larger regular clothes, and they all look horrible! The still don't fit in the bust, and the shoulders are way too long....

I can't wait until the obvious bump comes along!

Even when you have the bump, youll still feel this way.. The cloths look so cute on the prego manickin (not sure how to spell).. they looked horrible on me.

With my first pregnancy, I loved how I looked (of course, once the bump was noticeable, not during this "I look like I've gained weight and am not pregnant" phase).

I have a feeling it's not going to be that way with this one, because I feel so sick all the time.

I know what you mean!

I am 18 weeks and I finally had someone ask me yesterday who didn't know if I was pregnant. She was the first person to ask, before I said anything.

I remember that stage I was all about the yoga and sweat pants with big t-shirts.

I hated that part! It's an awkward stage to say the least, and I remember I couldn't wait until I definitely looked pregnant too. That came for me around 17 or 18 weeks, so it should be soon!

I hate this stage. My regular pants don't fit and maternity are too large. No "bump", just looking chubby

I'm 21 weeks and still don't look pregnant. Everyone keeps saying any day now I'll just pop but I just want it to happen already!!!! Everyone else looks so cute with their little belly.

That stage is definitly annoying. My first was an April baby and when I was pg with him I wore alot of thin fitted sweaters, especially the raglin type (where the shoulder is slanted). As far as pants I couldn't fit into maternity pants for either pg until I was around 23 weeks so I had gotten some pants from NY&Co. that are cotton and have an elastic waist in the back. Not the most flattering but I felt they looked the best and they weren't expensive at all. You also could do tights with sweater tunics or sweater dresses since that is the style now.

The akward stage was not fun. But, what helped me get through it was taking advantage of the empire waist look that you see everywhere. I went to Daffy's and bought a few cute, inexpensive non-maternity tops that got me through those weeks.

I'm right there with you! I'm 14 weeks and none of my old clothes fit me! I bought maternity pants but they are way too big so I've taken to wearing stretchy pants to work! I can't wait to get bigger!

That's how I feel now. People that don't know I am pregnant just think I got fat.

I was the same way - and no one even knew I was pregnant until 7-8 mts!!!
