I caved!!! Damn cuteness!!!!
So my sister introduced Yogurt Melts to my son..grrrrrr.. they are dried yogurt balls I guess...so I bought a bag..
John Knows he has to sit in his highchair when eating them... i guess because he screamed to be put In his seat..so I figured he wanted some..
after TWO handfulls (the second b/c of his first tantrum.. ) He cried and cried and then said
"PEEEEESE PEEEEESE MAMMA PEEESE"
so a third serving was given after I dried up my melted heart off the floor!!
ETA: he's never said Please on his own..this is the FIRST TIME!!1 lol.. Usually I have to say "say Please"

those little manipulators!!! Ian thinks cause he says Please I'm going to cave. he's usually right, but i'm trying REALLY hard to not!

last night ian went over to the fridge and asked for a cookie. i said no, he said please?? i said no. he said please again and this time did the sign for please. me: no. insert tantrum. i let him cry for a couple of minutes and then i saw he "drew" a frog at daycare so i started jumping around the room like a frog yelling "riiiiiiiiibittttttttttttttt"  eventually he wanted to see what i was doing and starting laughing and then joined me. the things we do to distract

Yeah I tried distraction...the only thing that helped the last time was giving him his bottle eary!! ugggg...
Oh and to be a fly on the wall of every struggling mother out there!!
