i caved ...wait a minute ... UPDATE
and tested last night and this morning with FMU (4dp5dt and 5dp5dt) and BFN both times 
i am so upset - could this really have not worked?! i have read so many things online where people test positive on 4-5dp5dt and i just cannot believe that it's still coming up negative
am i out?
UPDATE:
So i took an HPT at 5am with FMU and i thought it was neg so i threw it out. I got up at 7am and was so upset so i just looked in the trash at the HPT i took from 5am and thought i was seeing things - i saw the faintest of lines. So, i took another HPT at 7am and saw an EXTREMELY faint line! I have these really cheap pregnancy tests that my mom got from her work (she works at an OBGYN) and a faint line came up on that! (but that one is a piece of crap and i dont trust it)
I know it's REALLY faint, so i am NOT getting my hopes up, but i figured i would posts the pics to see if you guys could see anything - i doubt it even shows up in the pics .... UGH pics in albums bc they wouldn't upload here!

hmmm I dont see anything in the pic, but if the line on the FR test was pink even lightest of pinks, you are preggo....

You are still testing really early.
I waited until 12 days post (7dp5dt) and had 3 DEFUNCT pregnancy tests. 1 on 8dp5dt was clearly negative. The other two (all clear blue easy) were strange (another horizontal line, ect), but both negative. The digital battery was broken. The tests were NOT expired. Plus, we are all really good at peeing on sticks at this point.
The beta was positive on day 14. Totally normal.
I TRULY believe if you are an IVFer, you have to wait for the neg beta to get depressed.

Something similar happened to me when I 1st tested. I didn't see a line, cried hysterically for an hour. I went to pee and looked in the garbage and saw the faintest line ever. I ran outside and tried to hold it up to the light and it was almost invisible. It got slightly darker the next day and the following day I got a BFP on a digital.
I personally, could never wait for my beta. I don't think it's too early to test. Get a better brand tomorrow and let us know what happens!!!

OMG that's crazy! I don't think I would have been able to emitionally handle all of that!
you're right - i am not getting my hopes up 100% until the Beta - but mine is on 3/11 and that's so far away!!

I had the same faint line at 9DPO on FRER (started out with twins) and my beta was pretty high at 14DPO!!!!
Don't use the cheap ones!! try another FRER tomorrow!!!!
thank you! I am hoping so hard that this is it!
I already went out and bought SIX more FRER! i am driving myself insane 
i might even test again tonight

good luck.. i checked my ivf calendar for when my beta would be and its scheduled for 12dp3dt.. So that would technically be 15dpo.. also most girls i know in the ivf have been getting BFP on 9dp3dt so that is still 12days... i think you are still a little early and if you are already seeing a faint line that its congrats..

Yay, congrats!!!!!
check out my album for my BFP's- the faintest lines ever!!! The first didn't show up until hours after I tested and the others showed up in the time. I bet tonight or tomorrow you'll get a + with a digital.

i tested at 4dp5dt and every day after that- i got my BFP at 8dp5dt the fact that you saw a faint line so early in the game is a great sign!!! wishing you nothing but HAPPY news!!!!!
