I didn't see any photo opps at Fortunoff's

I suited up Roman to go take my own pics at Fortunoff's. I got DH to meet us there by saying I was taking him to see Santa. I had it all planned out in my head. I was going to have him sitting next to toy soldiers or some poinsettas next to a tree. Everything was blocked off. I tried getting one pic and DH got pizzed at me and my battery died.

I did get Santa pics though. DH has to scan and send to me, then I will share. So who's setting up their Christmas decorations so I can take pics of my kid?

I saw a tree and it had a bench and people were taking pictures in the basement holiday shop at Fortunoff's. They wouldn't let you take pictures?

I saw a pretty decorated christmas tree and their was a little bench like the ones you would put in front of your bed. There were 2 little girls taking a picture there. I saw it right near where you come off the elevator.
I guess it's easier to take pics with bigger kids. I was trying to look for a place to take pics of with my son too.

When I was there last weekend I saw families literally putting their kids into the middle of the displays and taking pics. Maybe the store was getting annoyed and decided to block it off? I don't remember specifically where they were - I think across from Santa's chair?

OK...I just posted the other day how I took pics of my kids at Fortunoff's.

I stuck them in 2 displays, both near where they sell the fireplaces.

No one said a thing. In fact, workers came over and asked if they wanted me to have them take a pic of the whole family for us.

EVERYBODY was doing the same thing. All the kids were in their Christmas duds and parents were snapping away!

The only display that was kinda gated off was one that was all white with polar bears in it. I didn't go into that one (though I wanted to).

Did you go to the Fortunoff's in Westbury?

That is soooooooo weird!!

Wait...I just saw your Santa pic. That's not the Santa in the basement of Fortunoff's. That's the Source Santa.

Did you go to the Holiday store (basement) of Fortunoff's?? That's where EVERYONE was taking pics!

oh darn, i was hoping to do this. Ive done it at smithhaven mall a few times. I think anything festive and colorful is fine. but it might just be at home this year to manage all 3 for a photo op (bsides the santa one )
