I Don't Keep Junk Food In The House....
But every minute that I'm not busy with something/someone I find myself looking through my fridge ans cabinets looking for someting bad to eat, and then get annoyed that there is nothing "bad" to snack on!
Anyone else in the same boat?

I don't keep it in the house either. If I am going to eat somethig "off program" I am doing it outside of the house.

What you should do is make a whole bunch of little containers of snacks for yourself - thats what I do - get those kiddy take and toss containers... fill one with nuts, one with crackers, animal cookies, etc....

Good idea for portion control.
We, unfortunately, have junk in the house b/c my DH is a skinny mini who does like to eat. I just have to use my discretion and self-control at all times.

That is an excellent idea!
Now does anyone have an idea about where to hide these snacks from DH?? He is a closet snacker, lol.
He won't let me make pasta, but if there is EVER anything "snacky" in the house and I go to bed before him, it mysteriously disapears by morning....

I keep them in one of my bags - all the non perishable stuff - but the refrigerated stuff, if there are little containers of it, i tell DH to just take from the original container....

Re: I Don't Keep Junk Food In The House....
I am the same way at times. Unfortunately though, I know that I cannot trust myself to keep anything of the sort in the house.
It's something I had to deal with in the beginning but now doesn't phase me at all. Having small containers of snacks won't work for me - I will eat multiple portions!
I love Kim's idea - if you want something go out and get it. That way you'll only REALLy get what you REALLY want!
